The Affinity Story
After working as a Union painter and continuing to master the trade, my partner and I decided in 2020 to start Affinity Coatings. My child was admitted to PICU when he became ill with a virus that infected the brain and was diagnosed with LGS. Battling many health issues and having another child I began to really think about life choices.
A fellow co-worker (Jacob Bernardini) was there through it all. After a year or so, we started to talk about how we both want more time for family and the ability to set our own hours.
We donate to the LGS Foundation annually and have set a goal to assist/fund some of the medical costs for those with LGS diagnosis. There are numerous unanswered questions due to a lack of funding for study.
We are fully licensed, bonded and insured.
Since starting Affinity Coatings, we’ve completed dozens of coating and painting projects ranging from small residential jobs to large commercial contracts.
